Important:EU delivery costs depend on the delivery provider, product weight/dimensions, and destination country. Import duty and local VAT may be charged by customs on arrival. The duty rate depends on the product HS code and the destination country's tariff schedule. PartsHIRE is not responsible for any customs duties or taxes levied at the destination. Contact us for a delivery quote before ordering.

*Express delivery (UK) is available for orders placed before 2:00 PM (Monday to Friday, excluding bank holidays).

3. Free Delivery

We offer free UK standard delivery on all orders with a subtotal of £500 or more (excluding VAT) to UK mainland addresses. This applies automatically at checkout. Free delivery uses our standard delivery service (2-3 working days). If you require faster delivery, you may upgrade to express at the additional cost shown above. Free delivery is not available on EU orders.

4. UK Mainland Delivery

Our standard delivery options and timeframes apply to UK mainland addresses in England, Scotland (excluding Highlands and Islands), and Wales. Working days are Monday to Friday, excluding UK bank holidays. Delivery times are estimates from the date of dispatch, not the date the order is placed.

5. Scottish Highlands, Islands, and Other Regions

Deliveries to the following areas may incur additional charges and longer delivery times:

  • Scottish Highlands and Islands
  • Northern Ireland
  • Isle of Man
  • Channel Islands (Jersey, Guernsey)
  • Isle of Wight
  • Scilly Isles
  • Other offshore locations

Additional delivery charges for these areas will be calculated and displayed at checkout. Delivery to these regions typically takes 3-5 working days for standard delivery. Express (next-day) delivery may not be available for all remote locations.

6. EU and International Delivery

We deliver to EU countries. EU delivery costs depend on:

  • Product weight and dimensions
  • Destination country
  • Selected delivery provider (DHL, FedEx, UPS, or national postal service)

Import Duty and Taxes:Since the UK left the EU, orders shipped to EU countries may be subject to import duty and local VAT upon arrival. The applicable rates depend on the product's HS (Harmonized System) classification code and the destination country's tariff schedule. PartsHIRE ships DDP (Delivered Duty Unpaid) unless otherwise agreed. The recipient is responsible for paying any applicable customs duties and local taxes.

7. Order Processing

  • Orders are processed Monday to Friday, excluding UK bank holidays.
  • Orders placed before 2:00 PM are typically dispatched the same working day (subject to stock availability).
  • Orders placed after 2:00 PM or on weekends and bank holidays will be processed on the next working day.
  • You will receive a dispatch confirmation email with tracking information once your order has been shipped.

8. Order Tracking

Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive an email with a tracking number and a link to the courier's tracking page. You can also track your order by logging into your account on our website and viewing your order history.

9. Delivery Issues

If you experience any issues with your delivery, please contact us as soon as possible:

  • Late delivery: If your order has not arrived within the estimated timeframe, please allow an additional 2 working days before contacting us. We will investigate and resolve the issue promptly.
  • Damaged goods: Please report any damage within 48 hours of delivery with photographs. See our Returns and Refunds Policy for full details.
  • Missing items: If items are missing from your order, please contact us within 48 hours and we will resolve the issue.
  • Failed delivery: If a delivery attempt is unsuccessful, the courier will leave a card with instructions for redelivery or collection.

10. Large or Heavy Items

Some products may be classified as large or heavy items and may require specialist delivery. In such cases, we will contact you after your order is placed to arrange a suitable delivery date and discuss any additional requirements. Delivery of oversized items may take longer than standard timeframes.
